AnalogX - Transformer Series 1.0 - Eisen Edition (GENESIS)
Exclusive to Genesis | Modelled at 48k | Powered by our HQ 2 Technology | Calibrated to -18 RMS with the Red Drive at Unity (12 o'clock)
IMPORTANT - Requires GENESIS v2.1.0 or higher for True Stereo profiles to load and for the emulations to run on GPU
Near Analog Iron Tone, Bottled for Genesis:
The AnalogX Transformer Series 1.0 - Eisen Edition brings the sound of a mastering-grade analog transformer path into Genesis, rebuilt using our HQ 2 Technology for weight, density, harmonic richness, and controlled transient softening.
This pack is focused on the transformer itself rather than on compression or a larger processing chain. That makes it a simple but highly effective colour tool for adding iron tone, low-mid solidity, and analog-style cohesion to tracks, buses, stems, and full mixes.
From restrained transformer polish to a hotter, more forceful saturation response, Eisen Edition gives you a practical way to add real analog-style magnetic weight inside Genesis.
What’s Inside
This pack includes two HQ 2 transformer emulations based on different drive states of the Eisen path.
Included emulations:
TEGELER_MAG_EISEN_HOT_HQ_v2.gen
TEGELER MAG EISEN LOW_HQ_v2.gen
The Low emulation gives you the more restrained side of the transformer, ideal when you want subtle glue, low-end authority, and harmonic support without obvious saturation.
The Hot emulation pushes the transformer harder, adding more density, more harmonic colour, and a stronger analog-style finish that works especially well on drums, bass, synths, guitars, and mix buses.
A Brief History
The Eisen transformer sound comes from a modern German analog design philosophy that treats the transformer not just as a supporting component, but as an active tonal stage. Official product descriptions for the hardware platform behind it describe the output transformer as a key part of the sound, adding density, punch, and a tape-like sense of weight to the processed signal.
That is part of what makes this transformer path interesting on its own. Rather than acting as a neutral pass-through, it contributes its own low-mid body, transient contour, and harmonic structure in a way that can subtly reinforce a mix or more obviously shape it when driven harder.
The Eisen Edition captures that idea in Genesis: the transformer as a tone tool in its own right, separated from the larger processor so its character can be used directly and deliberately.
How to Use It in Genesis
Click CAL to ensure the input is calibrated correctly in Genesis. Start with the Red Drive at the 12 o'clock position, back it off for less saturation or increase it to increase harmonics.
