AnalogX - Vintage Hello F700 Console Compressor Emulations (GENESIS)
Exclusive to Genesis | Modelled at 48k | Powered by our HQ 2 Technology | Calibrated to -18 RMS | Red Drive minus -24 for compressors AND input at -18, the use unity red drive for line stages
IMPORTANT: When using the Compressor Emulations - Due to the aggressive nature of both the unit and the sampling of the Compressor we suggest to start with red drive at -24 AND set the Input to -18. Then use the red drive to add compression to your track, finally adjust the output level to suit.
IMPORTANT - Requires GENESIS v2.1.0 or higher for True Stereo profiles to load and for the emulations to run on GPU
A Rare Console Compressor Reborn for Genesis:
The AnalogX Vintage Hello F700 Console Compressor Emulations bring the sound of a rare 1970s British console compressor and line path into Genesis, rebuilt for modern sessions with aggressive punch, rich transformer tone, and unmistakable vintage attitude.
This pack is built around two sides of the hardware. First, the compressor emulations deliver the fast, forceful, highly characterful response that made this type of desk dynamics section so famous on drums and energetic source material. Second, the line emulations capture the Line input path, giving you the weight, grit, and analog tone of the electronics without active compression.
From explosive drum shaping to warm vintage line colour, Vintage Hello F700 gives you a broad and highly usable slice of classic British console behaviour inside Genesis.

The compressor emulations focus on fixed attack settings with multiple release and ratio variations, giving you different levels of grab, control, and aggression.
The line emulations provide the raw console path without compression, allowing you to use the tone of the circuitry itself as a colour stage on vocals, bass, guitars, synths, buses, and mix elements.
Together, these emulations give you both the explosive dynamics side of the unit and the deeper transformer-based console tone that sits behind it.
A Brief History
This style of British console compressor came from an era when studio dynamics sections were expected to do much more than simply tame peaks. Designs in this family were built into major recording desks and became known for their ability to combine compression, limiting, and more forceful transient shaping with a distinctly aggressive musical attitude.
That made them especially important on drums. Rather than sounding soft or polite, they could make room microphones, kick, snare, and full drum groups feel larger, heavier, and more dramatic. Over time, that punchy and unmistakably forceful sound became deeply associated with some of the most iconic rock drum recordings of the 1970s.
At the same time, the console line stages around these compressors had their own appeal. Even without active gain reduction, they contributed warmth, grit, forward midrange, and transformer tone that helped define the overall sound of the desk. Vintage Hello F700 preserves both sides of that legacy in Genesis.
How to Use It in Genesis
