AnalogX American Black Box Saturation (GENESIS)
Exclusive to Genesis | Modelled at 48k | Powered by our HQ 2 Technology | Calibrated to -18 RMS | Red Drive at Unity (12 o'clock)
IMPORTANT - Requires GENESIS v2.1.0 or higher for True Stereo profiles to load and for the emulations to run on GPU
A Must-Have Tube Saturation Collection:
The AnalogX American Black Box Saturation pack brings a huge range of high-end tube colour into Genesis, rebuilt using our HQ 2 Technology for richer harmonics, smoother response, and more detailed dynamic behaviour.
This is an exceptional value pack built around one of the most respected modern tube saturation concepts in studio audio. It covers everything from subtle lift and air through to deeper density, mix bus polish, aggressive drive, and full harmonic destruction.
With the newly sampled expansion included, this collection gives you a broad analog palette for vocals, drums, bass, synths, guitars, buses, and mastering chains. It is a must-have set for anyone wanting flexible tube saturation inside Genesis.

The lighter emulations such as Light Touch, Light, Mix Bus, and Medium Saturation are ideal when you want polish, air, and analog lift without obvious overdrive.
The Pentode, Triode, Alt Tube, and Rider-based emulations give you different harmonic balances, from broader weight and density to sharper presence and more assertive upper detail.
The stronger emulations such as Strong Saturation, High Aggression, Destroyer, Gnarly Bustard, and Saturated Lows or Highs push much harder into obvious tube colour, making them especially useful for drums, guitars, bass, parallel processing, and creative bus treatments.
This is a very deep and flexible pack, and the newly sampled additions make it even stronger value.
A Brief History
This style of modern tube saturation processor became important because it offered more than simple distortion. Instead of only providing a single tube colour, designs in this class used multiple tube stages and parallel saturation paths to let engineers shape different kinds of harmonic behaviour with far more control than older one-flavour units.
A key part of that concept was the interaction between pentode and triode stages, along with switchable alternate tube voicings, air enhancement, and frequency-focused saturation options. That meant one processor could move from subtle mastering-style polish to heavier mix bus drive or creative destruction, depending on how it was set.
That flexibility is what made this type of hardware so respected in mixing and mastering circles. The American Black Box Saturation pack preserves that same philosophy in Genesis: tube tone as a controllable, mix-ready tool rather than a fixed effect.
How to Use It in Genesis
Click CAL to ensure the input is calibrated correctly in Genesis. Start with the Red Drive at the 12 o'clock position, back it off for less saturation or increase it to increase harmonics.
