The Magic 7 AD DA Emulations bring the converter tone of one of the most respected modern hardware reverbs into Genesis. This pack is focused on the full analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog signal path of the unit itself, giving you access to the width, depth, transient polish, and subtle harmonic finish that helped make this hardware feel so expensive and so alive.

This is not a reverb expansion pack. This expansion pack is inspired by of the hardware path behind the reverb.

Used across FX returns, delays, synth buses, vocals, groups, or even full mixes, these emulations add a sense of space, refinement, and dimensionality that is difficult to describe but instantly familiar once heard.

Now updated to include both our top-tier HQ 2 models and the new more CPU-friendly STD 2 models, this pack gives you the choice between maximum fidelity and more efficient large-session workflow.

This pack includes both True Stereo and split left/right emulations in HQ 2 and STD 2 formats. Load a single Left or Right Emulation for dual mono operation or stereo for true stereo.

A Brief History

The hardware behind the Magic 7 became a modern classic after its release in 2007, quickly earning a reputation as one of the finest digital reverb processors ever made. It's standing was never only about algorithms. A major part of its appeal came from the complete hardware implementation around them: a high-resolution digital platform, a separate fully differential analog section, and a transformer-based linear power supply.

That design philosophy helped give the unit its characteristic sense of depth, openness, and realism. Engineers came to value not just the reverbs themselves, but the way signals felt when passing through the box. Over time, the converter and analog path became part of the sound people were hearing and responding to, especially on acoustic sources, vocals, strings, ambient effects, and stereo processing.

Click CAL to ensure the input is calibrated correctly in Genesis. Start with the Red Drive at the 12 o'clock position, back it off for less colour, or increase it for more depth, harmonic density, and tonal weight.
