This pack includes emulations built around a boutique stereo valve processor, captured across a wide range of tonal modes, saturation levels, and internal processing paths.

A Brief History

The Wizard is inspired by a modern stereo valve saturator designed for mastering-grade analog tone shaping. Units in this class are valued not simply for adding distortion, but for combining harmonic enhancement, dynamic control, and detailed tonal shaping in a single signal path.

By blending tube saturation, flexible bias control, and compression behaviour reminiscent of classic variable-mu styles, this type of processor became especially useful for engineers who wanted either subtle finish or more obvious analog richness without sacrificing control.

With this Genesis release, those qualities have been captured using our HQ 2 technology for responsive, mix-ready analog behaviour in software form.

How to Use It in Genesis

Click CAL to ensure the input is calibrated correctly in Genesis. Start with the Red Drive at the 12 o'clock position, back it off for less saturation or increase it to increase harmonics.
