Mastering Converter Finish:
The AnalogX Hacienda Mastering 122 AD captures the sound of a high-end mastering conversion chain built to add the final sense of polish, depth, and cohesion that makes digital audio feel complete.
At the centre of this pack is the character of a revered mastering-grade AD converter, paired with a bespoke analogue front end that gently shapes the signal before conversion. The result is not simply clean capture, but a refined end-stage tone that brings openness, transient precision, harmonic polish, and subtle analogue authority to the final output.
From pristine mastering clarity to more obviously driven converter colour, Hacienda Mastering 122 AD is designed for engineers who want the sound of elite mastering conversion inside Genesis.

Each stage represents a different amount of analogue drive into the converter path, allowing you to move from pristine mastering-level clarity through to subtly saturated harmonic richness.
The Unity captures preserve the cleanest and most open version of the chain.
The Plus 3, Plus 6, and Plus 9 captures progressively increase the sense of drive, density, and converter attitude while retaining the precision and finish expected from a mastering-oriented path.
A Brief History
High-end mastering converters became essential because the final analogue-to-digital stage has a major influence on how a mix translates. The best designs are valued not just for transparency, but for the way they preserve transient detail, stereo depth, dimensionality, and musical balance under real mastering conditions.
Likewise, mastering controllers and line stages are often chosen for the subtle but important role they play before conversion, shaping tone without clouding detail. In elite mastering rooms, carefully selected analogue components and modified signal paths are often used to create a final conversion chain that feels more open, more cohesive, and more emotionally engaging.
Hacienda Mastering 122 AD captures that philosophy in Genesis: a mastering-focused analogue front end feeding a world-class conversion stage, rebuilt as a practical mix and mastering tool for modern production.
How to Use It in Genesis
Click CAL to ensure the input is calibrated correctly in Genesis. Start with the Red Drive at 0, at the 12 o'clock position.
Use the higher drive stages when you want more density, subtle harmonic lift, and a slightly more assertive final conversion character.
These captures work particularly well on mix bus, stem mastering, groups, drums, vocals, and full program material where the goal is polish rather than obvious processing.
