Due to an issue with macOS GPU Processors in v2.1.1, we advise macOS users to roll back to Genesis v2.1.0

In addition there is an issue with macOS and Logic Pro which can result in a CPU spike that requires a DAW reboot - we are looking into the situation and will provide an update once we know more.

The Biggest Leap Forward Yet for Genesis:

Genesis v2.1.0 is a major update to our flagship plugin and the platform that loads all AnalogX add-on emulation packs, as well as industry-standard NAM A1 and A2 models for the guitar crowd. This release brings a substantial step forward in gain staging, GPU integration, profile support, stability, and everyday workflow, making Genesis more powerful, more accurate, and easier to use in serious sessions.

At the centre of the update is a smarter and more complete mixing workflow. Sweet Spot metering, CAL input calibration, improved gain reduction metering, and dual-action volume matching make it much easier to hit the intended operating level of every emulation. At the same time, the expanded GPU Audio engine, True Stereo profile loading, and brand new HQ v2 model support push Genesis further ahead as a modern analog emulation ecosystem.

This is not a minor maintenance update. It is a substantial upgrade to how Genesis behaves, how it loads profiles, and how confidently it performs inside real-world DAW sessions.

A Brief History

Genesis was created to bring the sound of high-end analog hardware into a practical modern plugin environment, allowing users to load preamps, compressors, tape machines, consoles, saturators, and complete signal chains inside one flexible workflow.

Earlier versions already established Genesis as a serious emulation platform, but v2.1.0 marks an important point in its evolution. This update moves Genesis beyond being simply a model host and pushes it closer to a full analog-style mixing ecosystem, with better gain staging, better GPU handling, more sophisticated profile support, and much stronger day-to-day usability.

How to Use It

Load Genesis on a track, bus, or master channel and load one of the included emulations
Click CAL to calibrate the input correctly for the loaded emulation.
Use Sweet Spot metering and Auto Gain to keep levels aligned while shaping tone.
Choose CPU or GPU workflow depending on your system and installed Genesis version.
